Angola

Each cargo with final destination Luanda or Lobito and  should be covered by a CNCA (Conselho Nacional de Carregadores).  

Shippers / Forwarders are requested to follow the imposed procedure by the official authorities to avoid any difficulty or penalty upon clearing the goods at destination.

Always make sure your documents are shared with us by email and  in a good resolution and not more than 2MB for each file preferably as PDF.

Documents required:

  • Commercial Invoice
  • Freight Invoice (if freight rate and incoterms not included in the CI)
  • Import License (D.U. – Documento Unico)
  • CNCA Application Form (signed and stamped)

Regulations:

  • Any CNCA (previously known as ARCCLA)  that contains incorrect data, particularly those of the freight costs, nature of the goods, and the value of the goods, cannot be approved or validated by the agents. 
  • Each BL issued needs a CNCA. The CNCA is compulsory for cargo release at destination and requested by the local authorities.
  • Any changes requested after validation must be approved by the authorities. This modification may take additional time, as it is at the sole discretion of the authorities. Therefore, we always recommend you make sure CNCA is correct and confirmed with all final information before requiring validation.
