When conducting Air and Sea Shipments to the Democratic Republic of Congo, it is mandatory upon shippers or their designated representatives to furnish a FERI (Fiche Electronique de Renseignements à l’Importation), for shipments offloaded at the port of Matadi.
This FERI documents necessitates validation from a recognized and duly authorized entity.

Documents required:
- Bill of Lading
- Commercial invoice / Freight invoice
- FXI Number
- Bivac Code for goods with a value > USD 2,500,-
Regulations
- The email address of the importer/exporter.
- ETD / ETA / Vessel Name / Voyage number
- The chassis number and registration date in the case of vehicles are necessary in order to comply with the Restrictions of Decree No. 17/006 of April 4, 2017, amending and supplementing Decree No. 12/041 of October 2, 2012 regulating the importation of used vehicles into the Democratic Republic of Congo;
- Category - HS and IMO CODE of the goods.
- Net weight / Gross weight and volume.
