Shippers / Forwarders are requested to follow the imposed procedure by the official authorities to avoid any difficulty or penalty upon clearing the goods at destination.

- Scanned commercial invoice
- Scanned copies of other docs issued at origin stating the number of units, the phyto‐ sanitary certification etc
- Full details of the BESC applicant
- ISO code of the goods
- IMO class if applicable
- Goods origin ‐ Packaging type and quantities
- Complete routing from POL to POD with all Trans shipments (Vessels; Voyage N°; ETD; ETA)
- Volume & Gross weight
- Incoterm of the trade
- Freight payment prepaid or collected ‐ FOB value
- Freight rate + surcharges
- Insurance
Regulations
- BESC has to be issued at Port of loading;
- BESC N° has to be indicated in the B/L and manifest;
- BESC must be shown for custom clearance to the Exclusive representative
- The discharge of a consignment not covered by a BESC is an infraction. It prevents gate exit from the Port of Discharge, on carriage, entrance in the National Territory (Mali) and the custom clearance of the good’s consignment.
